The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (1975) prohibits manufacturers from voiding your vehicle warranty simply because you used an independent shop. Tesla cannot legally refuse warranty coverage on components we did not service. As long as we use OEM-spec parts, follow factory procedures, and document the work — which we do, every time — your Tesla warranty remains intact.
If a Tesla Service Center ever tells you otherwise, ask them to put it in writing. They will not.
Use the Tesla Service Center for: active warranty claims, software updates that require Tesla credentials, recall work, and high-voltage battery pack replacement under warranty.
Use Motoro Cars for: everything else. 12V battery, A/C, suspension, brakes, body work, drive unit out of warranty, falcon wing doors, custom or aftermarket installs, panel adjustments, electrical diagnosis, and any job where you want it done this week instead of next month.
