Check Engine Lights

What does code P0300 mean?

Code P0300 means a random or multiple cylinder misfire has been detected, meaning more than one cylinder is not firing properly. Common causes include worn spark plugs, failing ignition coils, clogged or leaking fuel injectors, vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure, or a faulty mass airflow sensor. A misfire often comes with rough idling, hesitation, and reduced power, and if your check engine light is flashing, you should stop driving to protect your catalytic converter. Because so many components can cause P0300, accurate diagnosis is essential before replacing parts. At Motoro Cars in Miami, our ASE-certified technicians use computerized diagnostics to identify which cylinders are misfiring and why, so the right part gets repaired the first time. We are AAA-approved with locations in Wynwood and Doral. Call (786) 634-2002 or (786) 633-3220 to get a misfire diagnosed quickly and protect your engine.
