Every Porsche Model, One Shop

From weekend sports cars to daily-driver SUVs and the all-electric Taycan, we service the full Porsche lineup at both our Wynwood and Doral locations.

Porsche 911

All generations, including air-cooled classics and modern 992. IMS bearing, rear main seal, coolant system, and routine maintenance handled in-house.

Cayenne & Macan

Porsche's SUV lineup, including first-gen Cayenne V8 and diesel variants through current turbocharged models. Suspension, brake, and drivetrain service available.

Panamera

Full-size sport sedan and Sport Turismo. Engine, PDK transmission, cooling, and air suspension service for all generations.

Cayman & Boxster

Mid-engine sports cars with known IMS bearing and RMS vulnerabilities on pre-2009 models. We address these issues properly before they become engine failures.

Taycan

Porsche's all-electric sedan and Sport Turismo. Software diagnostics, brake service, suspension, and general maintenance for Miami's growing Taycan fleet.

Porsche Services We Offer

From routine oil service to complex IMS bearing replacement and PDK transmission work, we handle every aspect of Porsche maintenance and repair at our Wynwood and Doral locations.

Oil Service & Inspection

Porsche-approved synthetic oil, OEM-quality filters, and service interval reset. Proper oil weight and viscosity matter on Porsche flat-six and V8 engines.

Brake Service & PCCB

Standard iron rotor replacement, brake pad service, fluid flush, and inspection of Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). We assess PCCB condition accurately before recommending replacement.

IMS Bearing & Rear Main Seal

The most critical service for 996 and 986 generation Porsche engines. IMS bearing failure can destroy the engine without warning. We perform IMS retrofit and RMS replacement to protect your investment.

Coolant System Service

Coolant flush, expansion tank, water pump, and thermostat service. Miami's heat puts extra stress on Porsche cooling systems, especially on the Cayenne and Panamera.

PDK & Transmission Service

PDK dual-clutch transmission fluid changes, mechatronics inspection, and manual gearbox service. Proper PDK maintenance intervals are critical and often overlooked.

Suspension & PASM

PASM active suspension diagnostics and repair, control arm replacement, wheel alignment, and ride height correction for Cayenne and Panamera air suspension faults.

Diagnostics & Electrical

Porsche-compatible PIWIS-level scan tool diagnostics, fault code analysis, module coding, and electrical troubleshooting for all model lines including Taycan.

Common Porsche Issues We Fix

Porsche vehicles are among the most rewarding to own, but certain model years and engines have well-documented failure points. We know where to look.

IMS Bearing Failure (996/986 Generation)

The intermediate shaft bearing on 1997-2008 Boxster and 911 engines is one of the most discussed failure points in Porsche ownership. When it fails, the result is catastrophic engine damage. We perform the IMS retrofit procedure using upgraded bearings before failure occurs, protecting the engine entirely.

Oil Leaks (RMS & AOS)

Rear main seal leaks and air-oil separator failures are common on Boxster and 911 models. Ignoring an RMS leak long enough can cause clutch contamination, turning a simple seal job into a full clutch replacement. We catch these early.

Coolant Leaks & Overheating

Cayenne and Panamera V8 engines are prone to coolant leaks from plastic fittings, expansion tanks, and water pump housings. Miami's summer temperatures leave no margin for a compromised cooling system, and overheating even once can warp cylinder heads.

PASM & Air Suspension Faults

Cayenne and Panamera air suspension compressors fail with age, triggering warning lights and a rough ride. PASM electronic damper faults are also common. We diagnose the root cause and repair rather than replace entire assemblies when possible.

PDK Transmission Issues

PDK fluid is factory-filled for life on many models, but it does degrade. Skipping PDK service leads to hard shifts, shudder at low speed, and eventual mechatronics failure. We perform PDK fluid changes at proper intervals using Porsche-approved fluid.

PCCB Brake Wear & Damage

Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes are expensive to replace but can last well beyond 100,000 miles with proper inspection and driving habits. We evaluate PCCB condition accurately and give honest guidance on whether replacement is actually needed.

Porsche Repair FAQ

How much does Porsche repair cost in Miami?
Porsche repair at Motoro Cars is typically 30-50% less than a Miami Porsche dealership. We provide a transparent quote up front before any work begins. We use OEM-quality parts that meet Porsche specifications without the dealer markup on labor or parts.
Can an independent shop work on my Porsche without voiding the warranty?
Yes. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, your Porsche warranty cannot be voided simply for having service performed at an independent shop like Motoro Cars. We use OEM-spec parts and fluids, document all work performed, and our ASE Certified technicians follow Porsche service procedures.
Should I have the IMS bearing replaced on my 996 or Boxster?
If your 1997-2008 Porsche 911 or Boxster has not had the IMS retrofit performed, it is one of the most worthwhile preventive services you can do. IMS bearing failure is not a matter of if but when on many of these engines, and the result is usually a destroyed motor. The retrofit procedure replaces the factory bearing with an upgraded unit that eliminates the failure mode entirely. We perform this service regularly and can advise based on your specific engine and mileage.
What are the most common Porsche problems in Miami?
In Miami's heat and humidity, Porsche vehicles commonly experience IMS bearing and rear main seal failures on older 911 and Boxster models, coolant leaks on Cayenne and Panamera V8 engines, PCCB ceramic brake wear, PASM and air suspension faults, and PDK transmission shudder from neglected fluid changes. We see these regularly at both our Wynwood and Doral locations.
Do you service all Porsche models?
We service all Porsche models at our Wynwood and Doral locations, including 911, Cayenne, Macan, Panamera, Taycan, Cayman, and Boxster. Our technicians have Porsche-compatible diagnostic equipment and experience across air-cooled classics through modern turbocharged and electric models.
Do you service the Taycan?
Yes. We service the Taycan and Taycan Sport Turismo at both locations. This includes brake service, suspension diagnostics, PASM fault diagnosis, and general maintenance. For high-voltage battery or charging system repairs, we advise owners on next steps and partner with appropriate facilities.
