Brake Repair

Why do my brakes feel like they are vibrating at high speed?

Brakes that vibrate when you slow from high speed are most often suffering from warped or unevenly worn rotors. The faster you go, the more noticeable the vibration becomes as the pads ride the uneven rotor surface, sending a shimmy through the pedal and steering wheel. Rotors warp from intense heat during hard or repeated stops, which is common on highways like I-95 or after sustained braking. Other possible causes include unbalanced tires, worn suspension components, or a sticking caliper, so a proper diagnosis matters. Depending on the rotor's remaining thickness, the fix is either resurfacing or replacement with fresh pads. Addressing it restores smooth, confident braking. At Motoro Cars, our free brake inspection measures rotor runout and inspects related parts to find the real source. Our ASE-certified techs in Wynwood and Doral can help. Call Wynwood at (786) 634-2002 or Doral at (786) 633-3220 today.
