How long does a car AC recharge last?
A car AC recharge should last for years in a sealed, leak-free system, because refrigerant does not get used up during normal operation. If your recharge only lasts weeks or a single season, that is proof of a leak somewhere in the system, not normal wear. Slow leaks at O-rings, the condenser, or hose fittings are extremely common on Miami vehicles thanks to heat and salt-air corrosion. This is why we never recommend recharging without first checking for leaks, since topping off a leaking system just wastes your money. At Motoro Cars, our ASE-certified technicians locate and seal the leak first, then recharge to the exact factory specification so your cold air lasts. As an AAA-approved shop with Wynwood and Doral locations, we focus on lasting repairs, not quick patches. If your AC keeps fading, call (786) 633-3220 or visit motorocars.com.
