What should the temperature of my car AC vents be?

A healthy car AC should blow air between roughly 35 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit at the center vents, typically around 40 degrees colder than the outside temperature. In Miami's intense heat, that exact number can vary because the system has so much hot, humid air to cool, but if your vents are blowing noticeably warmer than the mid-40s on a normal day, something is off. Common reasons for warm vent temperatures include low refrigerant, a weak compressor, a clogged condenser, or a stuck blend door. Measuring vent temperature with a thermometer is one of the quickest ways to gauge AC health. At Motoro Cars, our ASE-certified technicians measure your vent temperature along with system pressures to confirm whether your AC is performing as it should. Serving Miami from Wynwood and Doral, we make sure you are getting truly cold air. Call (786) 634-2002 or visit motorocars.com.
