AC Repair

Why does my car AC blow harder on some vents than others?

If your car AC blows hard from some vents but barely from others, the usual cause is a stuck mode or blend door actuator, a vacuum leak in older systems, or a blockage in the ductwork. The mode door directs airflow between the dash vents, floor, and defroster, and when its actuator fails, air gets misdirected so certain vents lose pressure. You may hear a faint clicking behind the dashboard as the actuator tries and fails to move. Debris or even a stuck object lodged in a duct can also choke airflow to specific vents. At Motoro Cars, our ASE-certified technicians use diagnostic scan tools to test actuator operation and trace airflow problems to the exact cause. That precision saves you from replacing the wrong parts. Serving Miami from Wynwood and Doral, we restore even, comfortable cooling across all your vents.
