What causes weak airflow from my car AC vents?

Weak airflow from your car AC vents is most often caused by a clogged cabin air filter, a failing blower motor, or a frozen or moldy evaporator core. In Miami's dusty, humid environment, cabin filters clog faster than average and choke off airflow even when the air is cold. A blower motor that is wearing out spins slower and pushes less air, while a blocked or iced evaporator restricts the path entirely. Sometimes a stuck blend or mode door sends air to the wrong vents. The good news is that the most common cause, a dirty filter, is also the cheapest to fix. At Motoro Cars, our ASE-certified technicians check the filter, blower motor, and evaporator to find exactly why your airflow is weak. Restore strong, cold air at our Wynwood and Doral locations.
