HV Battery & Drive Unit

High-voltage battery diagnostics, module testing, BMS faults, contactor service, coolant loop replacement, and out-of-warranty pack repair. Drive unit (motor) replacement and seal service for all major platforms.

12V & LV Auxiliary Battery

The number-one EV failure point. We stock 12V and LV auxiliary batteries for Tesla, Rivian, Ford Lightning, Mach-E, Ioniq, EV6, Bolt, and more. Same-day diagnosis and replacement at both shops.

EV A/C & Heat Pump Service

Brakes & Regenerative Braking

EVs have predictable failure points. Here are the jobs we see weekly.

Dead 12V Auxiliary Battery

Every EV has a regular 12V battery powering the computers, door handles, and trunk release. When it dies, the car is bricked. We stock and replace 12V batteries for every major EV the same day.

HV Battery Coolant Loop

Coolant pumps, manifolds, and lines fail in Miami heat. A leak here can cascade into thermal management faults that ground the car. We pressure-test and repair the entire HV cooling loop.

A/C Compressor Failure

EV A/C compressors are electric and pricey at the dealer. We replace them with OEM-spec parts at far less than brand service center labor rates. Cool air, same day.

Premature Tire Wear

EV torque and curb weight chew tires fast. We stock EV-rated tires, do four-wheel alignments, and check suspension geometry on every visit to extend tire life.

Charge Port & Door Actuators

Charge port door actuators stick or stop opening on Tesla, Rivian, Lightning, and Mach-E. Pin damage from worn cables is also common. We diagnose and replace.

Brake Rust & Caliper Seizure

Regen means the brakes barely get used, so they rust. Calipers seize and rotors corrode in Miami humidity. We service brakes properly so you do not get a surprise on a hard stop.

Are EVs really cheaper to maintain?
Yes for routine maintenance, no for component replacements. EVs skip oil changes, transmission service, and timing belts. But when an HV battery, drive unit, A/C compressor, or suspension component needs work, costs rival luxury car repair. Dealers and brand service centers charge premium rates. We do the same work for 30 to 50 percent less.
Can you work on my EV battery?
Yes. We service 12V auxiliary batteries same-day on every EV we work on. For high-voltage traction battery work, we handle module diagnostics, coolant loop service, contactor and BMS issues, and out-of-warranty pack repair on most platforms. We will tell you upfront if a job needs the brand service center.
Do you handle EV body work and collision damage?
Yes. EV body work is a sweet spot for us because brand service centers are months out and very expensive. We handle bumper installs, panel replacement, gap adjustments, parking sensor diagnosis, charging port door actuators, and body cladding for Tesla, Rivian, Ford Lightning, Mach-E, Ioniq, EV6, and others.
Will independent EV service void my warranty?
No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, your EV warranty cannot be voided simply for using an independent shop. We document all work, use OEM-quality parts where applicable, and follow factory service procedures so your warranty stays intact for components we did not service.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee?
Standard EV diagnostics start at $120 and apply toward any repair you authorize. For complex HV system or battery diagnostics, we will quote you upfront before any work begins.
